Our corrections policy

If you spot an error — a wrong licence number, an out-of-date bonus term, a licence change we have not reflected, a broken scorecard figure — email corrections@bitcoincasinosnews.com or use our contact page. Tell us the page and what you believe is wrong; a source helps us verify faster.

How we handle a report

Every correction report reaches the editorial desk, not a marketing inbox, and it is handled the same way whether it comes from a reader, an operator, or our own team catching a mistake in review. We verify the claim against a primary source before we change anything: a regulator’s public register for licence facts, the operator’s own terms of service for bonus and payout terms, and our published methodology for anything that feeds a score. We do not change a published fact on an operator’s say-so alone, and we do not remove accurate criticism because a subject objects to it. If a report turns out to be right, we fix it and log it; if it is wrong, we will usually explain why we are leaving the page as it stands.

What we correct, and how fast

• Licence & safety facts — our fastest queue. We update licence status within 48 hours of confirming a change with the issuing regulator.
• Bonus & payout terms — corrected once verified against the operator’s current terms of service, with the review’s “last checked” date refreshed.
• Scores — if a corrected fact changes a sub-score, we re-run the fixed, published weighting and update the Cashout score transparently.
• Typos & minor edits — fixed silently; only changes that affect meaning are logged below.

How a correction is recorded

Each logged entry shows the date, the page affected, what was wrong, and what changed — enough for a reader to see exactly what we got wrong and how we put it right. We do not quietly overwrite the record.

Why we work this way

A visible corrections log is a cost to us and a benefit to you: it makes our mistakes public, on the record and dated, which is exactly the discipline that keeps a review desk honest. It fits the rest of how we work — reviews labelled “research-based” or “field-tested” according to what we actually did, licences checked against regulators’ own registers, and scores that no advertiser can buy or move. Our newsroom relaunched in 2026, and this log begins from that relaunch; we would rather show a short, honest record than imply a longer one than we have. If you think something here is still wrong, tell us again — a correction can itself be corrected.
