How the desk works

We publish under the Bitcoin Casinos News editorial desk byline by default, and add named reviewer profiles only where a real person consents to a public profile. Everything we publish is research-based and disclosed; we do not fake a test, a rating or a reviewer. That standard shapes who we work with.

Who we look for

Writers and reviewers who can verify a licence against a regulator’s register, read a set of bonus terms carefully, and write plainly and honestly about a YMYL topic. Experience in iGaming, crypto or consumer journalism helps; a commitment to never faking a test or a rating is non-negotiable. We work with both staff and freelance contributors, remotely, and we pay fairly for the care the work demands.

The kinds of contributors we want

• Review writers who are comfortable scoring a casino against our six fixed, published Cashout Report sub-scores and defending each score with a source.
• Wire reporters covering licensing, regulation and operator changes, who can tell a verified development from an operator’s press release.
• Terms and compliance readers who enjoy the unglamorous work of reading withdrawal and wagering terms closely and quoting them accurately.

How we work with freelancers

Freelance contributors work to the same standards and the same workflow as the desk: verify first, label honestly, and pass a second-person editorial sign-off before anything publishes. We commission clearly, we are specific about scope, and we credit work under the collective desk byline unless you consent to a named profile. Commercial arrangements never reach the person scoring a casino, so your assessment is yours — you will never be asked to soften a verdict for a partner.

Our values

Honesty over hype, evidence over adjectives, and the reader’s interest over an operator’s. We would rather publish a sub-7 verdict or a negative review than an inflated one, and we log our mistakes openly on our corrections page. We take responsible gaming seriously: our responsible-gaming pages stay ad-free, and we never write anything designed to target self-excluded users. Named bylines & consent

Named reviewers who join and consent to a public profile get a real author page with Person schema and full disclosures. We never publish work under someone’s name without their agreement, and we never borrow a real person’s identity for a byline.
